This just needed a post of it's own so that all could bask in it's glory.      On this thread Estrogen Lass said : It was a bad thing if SFC C was bored. When he got bored, thats when he would roam and wreak havoc upon us unsuspecting mission drones. Thats when God just left us. Its sorta like that footprints poem. Except when we saw one set of footprints, it was SFC C walking off with one of our heads tied around his neck while our dead body was twitching in the w...

While Ted Rall certainly has the *right* to say anything he likes, I submit to you that this doesn't shield him from justified criticism. His cartoon of July 5th  (in which he portrays Condi Rice as a "house nigga" and uses several other reprehensible race-baiting images) should be met with universal condemnation. Michelle Malkin Has a very thorough flensing of Rall and his "work" here . Ted Ralls email : chet@rall.com   Let this assclown know what...

While I often like to pretend that I am physically incapable of strong emotion, it is simply not true. These songs will reduce me to tears while I am stone-cold sober (even more so after a drink or two) :   Toby Keith :                           American Soldier          &nb...

Over at Brain Terminal  Mr. Maloney has posted another great video article on the Clinton Legacy as seen by Clinton fans getting their books signed! Frankly it is an instant classic like all of his other videographies . I urge you to take some time and visit. The Protesting the Protesters video series also gets high praise.

A few minutes ago SSG Eclectic Music calls up. The conversation went something like this.   Me: "Hello?" (tentative as I thought this call would probably result in my guarding something.) Eclectic : "Yeah, I got a question... Spleen?" Me: "" (mental gearbox is just grinding away to no purpose here... did he want to know if I was ill?) Me : "Oh! you mean SGT Spleen? Thats just SGT ***" (finally figuring out that he just wanted to know the real identi...

Many of you have probably noticed that in most of my articles I tend to use a style known (somewhat derisively) as the Wall of Blue . This developed as the direct result of having large quantities of time to kill during our unit’s last Mission. In order to preserve my sanity and to keep SSG Calangelo from flying into a rage I would often engage in a variety of searched loosely based on the Googlewhack technique.    &nbs...

After saluting Old Glory (naval connotations apropos for this article) at the end of day formation I made my way through the scorching Texas sun down to the post shoppette to procure the weekends liquid diet. While I stood in front of the beer cooler holding my 2 Liter bottle of Jack Daniels and a 6 pack of Shiner bock I noticed that the outrageously popular "Masculine or Feminine Drink" article Pseudo and I had written a while back was lacking. SGT Hworang w...

I want to take this opportunity to congratualte my buddy SGT Negrodamus on his selection for the Green-to-Gold program at UT Austin!. He set about doing it, got it done, and was rewarded for his persistence. Fuckin-A man! Neuro-biology no less!

If you want to read a day by day account of one soldiers ongoing deployment to Iraq please stop by Talisein's blog and give it a read. Yeah there are tons of spelling errors but hey, that gives it character!   Some small samples :   5 Jul 04 Heat exhastion now has a very palpable meaning to me. I drank 10 1.5 liter water bottles today. I have not gone to the bathroom. Wow. 02 Jul 04 SFC Calangelo called yesterday's operation an abortion...

(note : This series will probably not be very funny and is fairly personal so don’t read it if you don’t want to know. Also it is a multi-parter and I don’t know how many parts it will be.)      While I had intended my next article to address an earlier allusion I made to dating a lesbian (my mom asked me about it offline after the article), I feel I have to explain a bit of background first. This is simply the way my brain works and I think that the ori...
