He can't spell but who cares?

If you want to read a day by day account of one soldiers ongoing deployment to Iraq please stop by Talisein's blog and give it a read. Yeah there are tons of spelling errors but hey, that gives it character!

Some small samples :

5 Jul 04

Heat exhastion now has a very palpable meaning to me. I drank 10 1.5 liter water bottles today. I have not gone to the bathroom. Wow.

02 Jul 04

SFC Calangelo called yesterday's operation an abortion, which I thought was an apt assessment. Today we just PMCS'd our trucks and changed a tire until lunch, did some training. It was hot. So we chilled in the tent and eventually passed out, skipping dinner. The end.

Tal is a wierd fucker but a fine american nonetheless. Just go read it! And leave him some comments by way of support!

He seems to have such a great attitude toward his life right now. It surely is filled with frustrations but he is not making himself more miserable by ranting and raving about how unfair life is for him. There is so much great patriotism in so many of our young people. Come home safely.

Greywar, I tried to leave a supportive word for Tal. I tried as an anonymous user since I had no password, but when asked to duplicate those symbols, I was stumped by the first upside-down 9 and when I tried to hear the numbers, they were so muffled , even turning up the volume as loud as I could, I could not hear them. Oh, well, I will keep him and all you brave soldiers in my prayers.

Well, I have never liked Tal and he knows that I have never liked him. In fact....I cant remember how MANY arguments we have been in, especially that last 6 months that I was there. Although I dont like him, I still wish the guy all the best of luck and hope that he has a safe return. He is a soldier and for that he deserves the watchful eye of whoever is up there. Although, I cant say much for the other KP golf that is over there with him. Suffice it to say that her name begins with a B and rhymes with Todwell. She is hazardous to everyone.

Pseudo - You are welcome! I have no idea what movie you are alluding to. However, I remember how I could not tear him away from that hilarious but really vulgar British TV show "Benny Hill." This was at the tender age of about 5. Mea Culpa!

You know, Psuedo, its not that I dont like her, I just umm....well......how do I put this...yeah ok. I just dont like her. You know, and I told Mike this already, but I was almost positive that she was going to take Mikey away from me. Maybe thats why. Maybe its jealously. Jealousy over what , well, that I dont know. I am a woman and jealous by nature. At least I admit it. Until she started talking(endlessly and with no point whatsoever) and anoying the shit out of me, I thought that she was very pretty. So. yeah. It was jealousy.
