Jointly written with Pseudosoldier.

Would you classify the following drinks as masculine, feminine, both or neither:

Beer (Be it MGD, Killian's, Shiner Bock, or what have you.... = obviously masculine
Black Russian = Masculine but academic
Cape Cod = Feminine all the way yet tasty!
Screwdriver = Feminine!
Vodka, straight = Masculine, must be drunk while singing the old soviet national anthem (the new Russian one has no panache)
White Russian = Very feminine
Wine = Neither but definately effete or academic

The questions were posed by Pseudosoldier and answered by me so all blame is mine and all credit is his.

WWLC = WorldWide Language Competition. greywar did a couple of articles about it. You probably just didn't recognize the acronym (you're only Air Force by marriage, after all).

Ooh, slam!  That's ok, I am the Queen of Comebacks.....it's just early and I am still without caffiene so I can't think of one right now...

Waxed and tweazed. I'll pass on the aloe advice. And, I don't think greywar would run away unless something much more drastic was amiss (you're still a chick, right?).
dharma, I suppose that it's a mild slam. Must mean I'm taking to you.

And, currently, drink of choice is Old Diet Doctor Crow. (I think we're getting pissed with the brits at their hotel tonight.)

Old Diet Doctor Crow Pepper is one of my favs. Very masculine, low cal, no carbs, and nearly digestible!

How could you not have WHISKEY in therE?!?!?

The list was originally compiled to show SGT Monobrow that he's gay. It didn't prove it too, well, but Greywar posted it, and we hoped others would add to it in this thread. If you read upthread some, you'll notice that I mention whiskey, but no one has given an opinion of it.
For my part, I think whiskey is pretty masculine, especially the good stuff.
My stocking up for the weekend included: bottle of Old Crow, box of Franzia, 12 pack of Killian's. I'm down to 3/4 bottle of Crow, 2 Killian's and I just cracked the Franzia (only about 4 plastic cups in). I'm slacking.

Holy shit! I had 3 Rolling Rocks on Friday night and was buzzed....I'm getting to be a lightweight!

on May 30, 2004
Well, the weekend started Thursday night, so I had a little extra time to work, y'know. That Franzia is disappearing at a pretty good rate, now...
on May 30, 2004

Define "a pretty good rate".....!

Did you get get pissed with the Brits and the Scot like you had hoped to?

on May 31, 2004
A pretty good rate would have had me finishing the 5 liters in 2 days. But I have to let off some today, or I'll be in a bad way for work/class tomorrow.
I didn't wind up going out with the UKers. They decided to go to "Trivia Night" at some bar, then out to an all-night house party, then up to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. As I declined the Trivia, I seem to have declined the whole shebang. Monobrow went, tho. If I see him, I'll have to ask how it was.

As I finish some homework, wine and cheese. But it's box wine, Franzia, and the cheese is actually the cheapest pateurized process cheese food individually wrapped "American" single slices I could find at the Comissary (Cooper, incidentally).
Effete, but po' white trash, I suppose.

Well, you tried, I suppose! ROFL....that Cooper crap is mostly oil!  Oh, you make me laugh, pseudo.  I think that you and my husband would get along really well together!

Ok, I'm back to my beer.

on Jun 02, 2004
Good on ya. Saw your article, and almost posted a reply, but it would require me to admit that I myself drink alone, pretty consistently... problem? I don't have any problems. I get into trouble when I drink *not* alone...

Wine box... almost... empty... I'm getting to Greywar's favorite part: when you have to open the box and take the bag out to squeeze that last bit of goodness out of it like it was intended to be a cheap plastic wineskin or somesuch...
on Jun 02, 2004

Awww, you should have posted! That was my point...I drink alone..no problems.  I drink with other people...and I end up pissing someone off, hurting someone's feelings......or getting people so mad at me they want to kick my ass (last year, on my birthday.  My neighbor was being a bitch and I told her so...and she decided she was going to try and take me.  Silly girl.)

I'm on my last beer...that's ok, I have rum, Jack D and some vanilla vodka around here somewhere.

I'm going to be hurting tomorrow.

I like the visual of you sucking the last drops out of the plastic bag-o-wine.

It was a mighty impressive sight the time I saw Greywar do that same act, in Germany. Holding it over his head, a look of intense concentration on his face... I'm sure it will come to this, for me.

...will you take a pic and let me see?
