Ahhh smell that wholesome tolerance...

Some sentiments from a peaceful and tolerant blogger in response to this post. I won’t put their handle in this blog (although you can of course find it on the original thread).

pretty sad commentary on this individual who uses one of the better anecdotes as a mockery. And sadder is how this person had a response of "wow man that was great ha ha ha". Sickening. Tolerance would be a good thing in these turbulent times. And it's unfortunate because attitides like that makes no one give a crap about you or your life. It would be ironic and somewhat poetic justice if you or your family got mowed down by some Islamist, of whom almost all are devout and non-violent. Making fun is kind of juvenile isn't it? Or is it just me?

Touched a sensitive nerve somehow, I guess.

That's the thing about posting jokes, there's always a number who will find the joke offensive.

And that is the sad part.  When we lose the ability to laugh at ourselves and our situations, we lose much of our humanity and compassion.

Nice return fire Dr. Guy, I noticed that the "tolerant" blogger in question got a firm warning for their efforts. ;~D

For me, I'm an equal opportunity destroyer. MOCK 'EM ALL, LET GOD SORT 'EM OUT!!! ;~D

Sure!  I just laughed at a blog by stevendedalus.  But he was mocking everyone.  Still it was clever.

You know, it's one thing to be offended and post something that says so. It's another thing to step out there and comment something like that.

You're gaining momentum and speed, though. It took the last blogger months to decide to post something like that. This one was only weeks...

It's fine to be offended and say so but to make a comment about hoping someone and his family are mowed down is quite another thing. Some people just don't realize when enough is enough. He went way too far and I'm glad that Karma stepped in and let him know that he better stop.

Is it a Him or a her? me thinks it is Wise Fawn in disguise!

Yah, that was a nasty comment there. I dont know why people would want to go and say something like that. It just sends out a negative image of themselves without changing anything.
