There is no edification in performing badly
Published on July 15, 2004 By greywar In Misc

Had a fairly shitty morning today (smoked myself every 12 hours this week....then had a surprise PT test... you know even when it is not for the record doing poorly bums me out.... even when I have an excuse) but it was all better because KLFX played Pantera's Walk on the way home. BTW Walk was RVD's theme back in his ECW days.... He should have stuck with it.

P.S. I appreciate SGT New-age Hippie's attempts to cheer me up this morning... I was just being a sulky bitch... I really do appreciate the thought

It has been a busy day for me so I am only getting to this site late this night. Sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with the knees. Don't overdue your workouts. Be careful not to push your heart too much. You know that heart problems could come your way. You may have a predispostion for that. Slow and steady wins the race. Take care. Love you.

Whereas grey may be willing to accept that it was simple misreading and that vdstat wasn't intending to bash anyone... Yeah, I'm not buying it.
I gave you that trolling for not reading the article, and yet still posting a mildly inflammatory comment. You claim you read the article, you claim you've read his blog, and yet you laid into Air Force personnel that you say were bitching about PT. You told him to "burn his draft card" if he couldn't hack it, assumed he wouldn't know what a draft card was, accused me of being less of a soldier because I said that grey was a good one, and possibly the most boneheaded of them all accused greywar of not having a sense of humor.
To further show how little you know of greywar, you referred to his ass as "little."

Pseudo- appreciate the support. The telling bit is that throught the entire exchange I kept getting Insightfuls and not a *single Trolling*...

Mom - wow, I was kinda hoping you would somehow avoid reading this exchange....

judging from the points swing between the two of us in the last 30 mins I would agree:) yes Red Dwarf was on BBC. I do not think it is in current production.

not to highjack your thread or even troll I just want to say - Red Dwarf is a fantastic bristish comedy - it IS still in production - 9 seasons now and they are currently filming a red dwarf movie to be released in 2005 or 2006.
They've released the first 4 seasons on DVD and are set to release 5 & 6 sometime this year.

Incidentally they tried to remake Red Dwarf with Americans - they made one season - starting in season 3 and had one original - the guy who played Kryton - I think it was axed after 1 episode. It's a very good British comedy - and while I know nothing about the Air Force, Army, Navy or anyones PT -- I know entertainment and I just wanted to set the record straight

grey - I calls 'em likes I sees 'em. I believe those weren't so much "insightful" as "creative," there just isn't a button for that.

grey's Mom - He's not normally this potty-mouthed. Well, usually. And then, it's usually good-naturedly dressing-down one of his friends/subordinates/acquaintances/random passerbys.

I've not seen grey's ass, but if I did, I would still be kind and call it "little".

Not to worry, grey and pseudo...about what I read here. I have lead a sheltered life but my eyes have read worse things and my ears have heard things that might make yours turn red. At least I learn what is happening in my son's life that he otherwise would shield from me. He is afraid to give me grey hair. I don't have much even at this late stage of my life. Get to bed now. Don't you have to go to work tomorrow?

Hey, hey, I'm already going to bed thinking about truckers, stop it!!

Ma'am - I don't have to go to work tomorrow, no. Some comp (compensation) time for the truly awful hours we will have to put in, soon, and for a long time coming. Maybe. But I'm not one to look a gift-extended-weekend in the mouth.

Don't you have to go to work tomorrow?

nope, thanks to our incredible new Commanding Officer LTC Hinsdale (not a pseudonym I just can't bring myself to disrespect him and I do not know him well enough to assign a non-disparaging name) we have a 4 day this weekend in preparation for the upcoming Mission.
