There is no edification in performing badly

Had a fairly shitty morning today (smoked myself every 12 hours this week....then had a surprise PT test... you know even when it is not for the record doing poorly bums me out.... even when I have an excuse) but it was all better because KLFX played Pantera's Walk on the way home. BTW Walk was RVD's theme back in his ECW days.... He should have stuck with it.

P.S. I appreciate SGT New-age Hippie's attempts to cheer me up this morning... I was just being a sulky bitch... I really do appreciate the thought

My brother in law, during bootcamp, got weekend passes off base.

One of several things might have happened:
1. You missunderstood what you brother was saying.
2. He joined before I joined in 1994.
3. He joined after the most recent airman in our office joined about 1 year ago.
4. Your brother was making stuff up.
5. It's all a government coverup!

I can only speak from experience covering the last decade or so, but the only time you leave base in basic is your last weekend, when everyone gets a one-day pass to go troll around the River-Walk with all of their family that came into town. That same last week, some flights will go see a basketball game, football game, etc... we attended some boxing matches that were being hosted on base.

Just to stick up for voodoo in all this.....he did use a "Family Guy" reference. He said "the s is silent, dummy". Peter said that to Lois. If you watch the Family Guy, you cant be all that bad.
