Bombs explode across Bangladesh

A series of simultaneous bomb blasts have taken place across Bangladesh,
reports say.

"There are bomb blasts all over the country. We have reports of some
injuries but no fatalities yet," senior police official Abdul Kaiyum
told AFP.

The explosions went off in the capital Dhaka as well as several other
cities, including the port city of Chittagong.

Police officials say it is still not clear who was behind the blasts.

But leaflets from a little known Islamic group, Mujahideen Bangladesh,
have appeared at the site of some of the blasts.

To which the DU morlocks respond :

So the US is now bombing bangledesh to distract from the failures in iraq

and to underscore their lies about the fake war on terror?

Pakistan. Iran. India. Some sort of connection. I'm doing the math here... gimme a minute.

and...

And here I though we had cleverly drawn all the terrorists to Iraq

where we could easily round them up.

OTOH, apparently they have learned something from us ... they're franchising.

and...

Either that...

or someone forgot to tell these particular "terrorists" about the * talking point that all of them were supposed to be in Iraq.

(* is the DU's cute little way of not using the President's name)

and despite the section I bolded up in the first article we have this example of cognitive dissonance:

I know nothing of Bangladeshi politics, but I see no reason to suspect anything other than domestic terrorism.

Geez... and it gets worse here!

KIRKUK, Iraq, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Six Iraqi soldiers were killed on Wednesday when insurgents fired automatic weapons at their car in northern Iraq, police said.

Their responses?:

he's so distraught he can't even serve in the great leader's war.

and

Well I guess that kinda....

blows that myth about all the "quality" training our "brave soldiers" are supposed be passing on to those Iraqi pop-up targets they call soldiers

Way to "support the troops but not the war" DU!

Knock, knock Silent Majority of sane democrats... Your party is running way way waaaay away from you. These are the fundraisers, organizers and activists here folks. Fix it or continue to slide down the polls.....

You have to quit reading du.org.  It does nothing for your blood pressure.  God made idiots or a reason.  But that reason is beyond me.

well you have to know your enemy.

Like going to a NASCAR race to watch for the wrecks!

Yea I know.  I just have learned how to dismiss them.  I am under a Dr.'s care for high blood pressure.  I am actually getting mellow in my old age!

The morlocks were the intellectually superior, albeit cannabalistic progeny of the human race. I thought us lefties were supposed to be blind, naive, and stupid? Wouldn't that make us the Eloi?

Having said that, I actually have to agree with Dr. Guy (it does happen from time to time). I quit reading DU about a year ago when I began getting dehydrated from the diarrhea and vomiting.

Cheers.
