Lets ask Chaldean1!

Q: How many Chaldeans are there?

A: Before that fucker Saddam there was almost 4 million, now? About 50,000. These people (he was talking about Michael Moore) really say Saddam was not a threat? Are they stupid? My God America is the land of opportunity!

Lets ask Kurd2!

Q: How bad was Saddam?

A: He imprisoned my father without trial and broke all of his limbs. (comment : it got worse after that)

Lets ask Kurd1!

Q: Man how did you do it?

A: I lived washing my ass with sand for 15 years just trying to get my family out of Iraq. Fuck those Turkish sons of bitches who loved to kick me and my kids down the hills to keep up from leaving. Fuck these American shits who think Saddam was not a murderer! He killed 80% of my people!

Why do you think Tallguy works with the USA instead of his homeland? Are you people even pinging the lowest level of the sanity meter?

Lets talk to the other natives too? Sorry, some stories and names I just can't print. All names changed to protect them.

 Edit: All true stories.

IF you notice around the break areas that the folks who emigrated here are pretty much all Bush supporters,(Fairly hard-core) and the young born in the USA folks are the ones spreading the sour grapes. (Not all but a number of them)

Even the lefty guys who work with us won't go back i.e. EvilSangus. He despises every Middle Eastern leader and worships the ground that any US President levitates over.

Odd how few of the left have anything to say here? Come on T-Bone tell these guys how fucked up they are.

Yeah, I always wondered how many US Soldiers have to patrol the Kurdish north and how many problems they have with the Kurds.
If anything we can let the rest of country go to pot and establish a Kurdistan republic which I am sure would allow the Chaldeans in and also ensure the Kurds have the northern Oil Fields to sustain themselves.

Plinko for the Kurds and Chaldeans!!

Okay, fine, let's go on a crusade around the world. Let's go into every country with a dictator that abuses and mistreats his people. Let's clean up the world's problems, let's give 'em good old fashioned American democracy, and while we're at it, let's give 'em a Bible and tell 'em the Lord Jesus is their savior. In fact, I have a motto for this worldwide crusade: America - Coming Soon to a Neighborhood Near You!

Personally I don't care about the Iraqi plight and think they should pay several millions in Saviour fees or become the 52nd state of the US. Then again I am a hearltess asshole.

Craig,

I know you meant that as sarcasm, but some of your fellow liberals are bashing Bush for not doing that very thing (Sudan, Rwanda), at the same time bashing him for going into Iraq.

Funny how they were so silent during the Clinton Administration, when the same countries were doing the same things. I did not see demands from them for Clinton to go on a worlwide crusade. Guess they only want to do that when it is a way of bashing Bush.

Yes lets because it is the right thing to do. Thanks for illustrating the complete lack of morals that lost the election.

If that is why we are doing it, I am all for it. But we appear to pick and choose which dictators we want to de-throne and it doesn't always appear to have much to do with his record on human rights.

"Yes lets because it is the right thing to do. "

I must disagree to that persuasion. It tells our forefathers that we should have waited for France to free us for nothing.

"God Helps that help themselves"

I don't think we should be saving people who can't sustain their own democracy for the cost of nothing. Let's face it. The lives of American Soldiers place more of a benefit to the world and our country then the lives of people in 3rd world countries who, when freed will erupt in chaos and lash back at America.

" The U.S. government has never succeeded in establishing freedom and democracy in any of its foreign adventures in the last fifty years. Freedom and democracy are blessings any people must establish for themselves." -Badnarik.

Don't our troops deserve something for saving the ungrateful especially when being paid less then contractors. The Adminstration has failed to do that and has failed to keep us safe by not spending money on defense iniatives but offense iniatives.

"De Oppresso Liber" is more than just a simple motto for the US Army SF, it is way of life for them.

Plinko for the Army Soldiers!!

This also assumes that these people were craving and were actually calling for freedom and that the Army should free them. Unfortunately the Iraqis submitted to authoutarian rule. They even collapsed on each other when they lost their ruler. It shows that they survived on an evil dictator and rather then face opression idly waited and survived it. I think it would explain how the loyalists got Saddaam on the election ballot until US disapproval made the "democratric" government to get him off it.

THe US army SF might beleive in freeing the opressed but unfortunately these people will only return to a strong decisive leader that will kill them, in the hopes he will make things better. FIne example of that is Cuba which after many years of freedom submitted to Castro. This will be the same case with the Iraqis who let Saddam become their dictator and who will undoubtly do it again. History has shown it. I listen to history

Plus I don't think you can call it a democracy when you use the same politcal formula as OUR Founding Fathers did. It's not designed by the people.

Shades I agree we should be in even more countries than we are in now. But just because we have not acted in some areas doesn't mean that we shouldn't act in others. I give to only some charities so since I am "ignoring" the others does that mean I should stop giving to the ones I do give to? Doing right is what the USA is about.

DPS - Doesn't it hurt to be such a defeatist? If history held to your defeatist views we would have already asked for England to take us back under it's wing. Thanks for playing.
