Speed Reading is a Gift. Share it.

I just spent the last hour catching up on all the blogs I have not read in about 3 weeks. Took me just over an hour to click through them all but I am current again. My point? Well mainly that I want to thank my Mom for teaching me to read very quickly. I clock at around 2000WPM most days (depending on content) and it helps to have nearly a perfect memory for printed material. This gift has made my life both tremendously easier and more enjoyable. Thanks

Like I said before, good to see you back! Hope you don't need a break again for a while.

Thanks, son, for attributing your speed reading abilities to my teaching. You did that mostly on your own with your desire to read everything in sight...starting in kindergarten.

Yes, xtine, my mom was a wonder, a woman with the patience and courage of a saint, an Irish red-head who guarded her brood with intense love. She lived an admirable life well into her 90's. Having ten lively children must have keep her young in spirit.

Sorry about the double entry and for putting xtine's comment in the wrong blog. Please fix that if you can. So good to see you back expressing yourself so well. I had to get out my dictionary again so I could grasp the meaning of your latest big blog. You know how I love learning new words. Communication, communication, communication!

I wish I could read that quickly. I read alot, but not nearly as fast or as much as you or SPC Nbs. Glad to see you back.
