Just when I thought he was quietly fading away into Billary's shadow Barack Obama pulls out a big gun:

"Barack Obama is vowing to detail all his earmark requests today and is challenging his Presidential rivals to do the same. " -TPM Cafe

     Not only has he made the challenge, he has followed through already here.

     Will Billary et al follow suit? If they do will it hurt them?

     I have to give Obama respect for owning up to these projects even though the vast majority of them shouldn't be federally funded in my opinion. Most of the things listed are State or even local goverment issues and have business being unded by people outside of Illinois. There are a few entries on there that are patent Federal items like weapons projects and COE undertakings but mostly they are local deals that should remain that way.

     I also have to wonder how the list will stand-up to scrutiny by millions of rabid fact-checkers... hope Obama's staff was thorough. For his sake.
