Via my wife the Quiz Queen... In truth it was a toss up decided by a tie breaker question that landed me as a Satanist rather than an Atheist or Agnostic. If you asked me how *I* would characterize myself I would say Agnostic...

Not many people are going to be surprised by their main result, are they?

The secondary categories may be more interesting. For instance, why did BakerStreet get 58% Islam, while I got 50% Jewish? My Islam score is a paltry 29%, and Buddhism a surprisingly low 33%. The results make anything other than Christianity and Judaism look insignificant to me, which I'm not sure I'd agree with.

Exploring those subtle variations of belief could prove interesting.

It seems to me that since Buddhism has the highest scores a lot of people think this way....mmmm...something to ponder. Maybe Dharma can possibly explain more about why this is?

Well, Buddhist principles and the Christian message have more in common than most people realize...or as 'yall are just now finding out, huh?

Biddhism isn't theistic and is much less dogmatic...but some of the basics are the same. Love, tolerance, compassion...the thought that your wrongs will come back to you one day, be it through Karma (Buddhism) or Judgement (Christianity).
However, just as there are similarities, there are differences...the lack of (or presence of, whichever way you want to look at it) a God is the biggest one.

I took this a few weeks ago and scored atheist, agnostic, islam, ...

My satanism score was very low, so it is not automatic that scoring high on atheist/agnostic means you will also score high for satanism.

I wasn't surprized to find that I lean towards Christianity....but it was interesting to note how high I scored in the Buddhism category.....

Sadly, part of it is that I haven't been worried much about you at all; it's the unfortunate adage "Out of sight, out of mind." I can be a bit selfish like that, how you being away doesn't impact me at all, so I don't worry about it. My stress/worries usually come from my very immediate surroundings.
Still, I do worry about you (and the other deployed soldiers), and use thoughts of y'all to remind me to get my ass in gear at work, occasionally. And you do come up in conversation every few days or so. I think the last one was a discussion Egregious and I had about you being "untouchable"... (Interpret that however you'd like.

Atheism is new to me...but it has been good to me thus far (ha, I lived in an insane amount of guilt until recently, and it feels so good to be free of it...I never felt good enough...I never felt god...even though by all rights I am a "good" person...now I feel so free and uplifted).
