So this is an Islamic Moderate?

At a convention on the subject of "Pluralism in Islam" which took place in late August, 2004 at the Egyptian Journalists' Union in Cairo, Sheikh Dr. Yousef Al-Qaradhawi, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood movement and one of the most important religious authorities in Islamist circles, issued a religious legal opinion permitting the abduction and killing of American civilians in Iraq in order to pressure the American army to evacuate its forces. Al-Qaradhawi stressed the fact that in his view, "all of the Americans in Iraq are combatants, there is no difference between civilians and soldiers, and one should fight them, since the American civilians came to Iraq in order to serve the occupation. The abduction and killing of Americans in Iraq is a [religious] obligation so as to cause them to leave Iraq immediately. The mutilation of corpses [however] is forbidden in Islam."

Well thank god, wouldn’t wan’t these guys cutting up bodies would we? Live folk? No problem. Never too late for change....

Who says he is a moderate? Well, he does for one:)

Yeah, that Muslim Brotherhood organisation is pretty f**ked up. For once I've got nothing good to say about either the man or the group. The Muslim Brotherhood is as bad as the Aryan Brotherhood in most ways. In fact with a lot of these nut groups (even big ones like the Egyptian) if you replace the nouns (eg Muslim with Aryan with Jewish with African etc.) then they tend to read exactly the same. I don't understand why they seem to get so much support

That's like my saying I know everything there is to know about Korea because I know people who lived there, because I eat korean food occasionally, because I purchase items that are made in Korea, watch Korean TV shows and because I read books about Korea.  It's preposterous, to be honest.

As for my opinions about American Muslims....you have to understand that there are some Muslims in this country that are very color-biased.  But, for the most part, I have no problems with American Muslims.  What I do have issues with are the terrorist thugs who masquerdae as peace-loving Muslims.

Well unintentionally I think Zika showed us exactly why they get so much support. The entire religious and political structure in the Middle East shoves this crap down their followers throats. After 20 odd years of being spoonfed this stuff (by folks they respect like Zika's professor) why wouldn't they beleive it and support folks like this. I don't think Zika even blinked until IG posted the Al-Jazeera link.
