Sometimes I cruise the Net simply to accquaint myself with various strains of rhetoric. I find this useful as it helps me to spot when people who are presenting themselves as moderates are actually pushing much more extreme agendas than they let on. Second Seedline doctrine is a good example of this.

     Many conspiracy theorists appearing in connection with seemingly more mainstream things like the 9/11 "Truthers" movement (Rosie O'Donnell's comments about 9/11, Omar, and the Bay of Pigs ties in here) use the Illuminati and the Bush family's supposed ties with the organization as a point of departure. The Illuminati are of course in league with the New World Order and backed by Jews according to many "Truthers". Most of their 9/11 hysteria avoids highlighting the anti-semitism of their core beliefs but a little digging reveals a lot.

     Basically once someone has invoked a tie in between the Illuminati and the Jews (or Omar and the Bay of Pigs) they are referring to Second Seedline doctrine as summarized by Sherry Shiner here. Even that page really shys away from revealing the deeper ties that Second Seedline has to White Power or "Christian Identity" groups but SS doctrine is the core of those groups' anti-semitism. Follow most "Truthers" far enough down the rabbit hole and you will find direct ties to neo-nazi groups using Second Seedline as the theological basis for their hate and as an excuse to murder or malign Jews.

The Bush tie-in:

"What do the Bush's have in common with Edomite Jews? They are all part of the serpent seedline of the Illuminati. "

     Which leads us to Catholics (and Rosie O'Donnell's recent remarks regarding both the 9/11 attacks and Catholic Justices by the way):

"The Illuminati are at the top of two particular races of people known as the Edomite Jews and the Sons of Cain. And it goes all the way to the top where the Illuminati rule directly beneath the Jesuits. The Jesuits answer directly to the Black Pope. The Black Pope position is the real power position in the Vatican as opposed to the "white" pope position. Most think it is the Pope, John Paul II who rules from the Vatican. He may reside there, but the real power in the Vatican is hidden, and it's in the position known as the Black Pope."

     How does Sherry know all this? God talks to her of course:

     And the improbable tie-in to Imus from James Wickstrom's website:

"Ever notice how the Jews and their cabala works? Everything they do has multiple purpose. Imus threatened to go public on 9/11 truth; the truth being that the Mossad and the CIA knocked the buildings down for the PNAC, so the Jews could create a "New American Century", demolish the "white elephant" WTC Towers, and make their buddy "Lucky Larry" Silverstein very wealthy."

     All of this is echoed and re-inforced by Neo-nazi or extremist organizations like The Order, the KKK, Islamic Jihad, and Vanguard News. It moves from there onto Truther sites after a bit of sanitization and then is regurgitated by Rosie O'Donnell who is seemingly unaware that the founders of the Truther movement also hate gays and lesbians as much as they hate Jews, Catholics, and Bush. Look on their websites if you can stand it.

     It is a short hop from the Truther organizations to people like Alex Jones's Infowars site and his stances on everything from 9/11, to the Bush family, food additives, and the evils of vaccinations.

      It pays to trace the ideological roots of things that seem more vanilla than they really are. Next time you hear Rosie, a Truther, or someone else indirectly echoing the beliefs of Sherry Shriner, Alex Jones, or their neo-nazi backers try to remember who is pushing the theory and what the basis of it is: Evil Jews, Evil Catholics, Aryan Supremacy, and even Extra Terrestrials (if you dig far enough they believe that Satan is an alien).

     These organizations use the lesser memes as a softening point for gradual recruitment. Once you become personally invested in some of the lesser belief systems it is much easier to sway your mind into buying the harder core of it all.

I am amazed at how far a crazed Nazi meme can be propagated by the very gullible.
